JDO Foundation
Mr Fagan’s 6th Class have been embarking on an exciting partnership since September through our involvement with the JDO Foundation.
The JDO Foundation Global Project involves linking two classes from different parts of the world together to work on cross-curricular projects using digital technology.
Our partner class is a 5th Grade class in Southridge Elementary School in Casper, Wyoming, USA. The children in our class have been working on projects with children in the US using digital tools such as Google Classroom, Slides and Docs. Keep an eye on the school website, Facebook and Twitter page for updates.
As part of our involvement in the project. Our pupils correspond weekly through emails, and then engage in one live Google Meet each month. As there is a 7-hour time difference between Dublin and Wyoming, our pupils stay back after school until 3.30pm, while our friends in America come to school at 8am to engage in live chat.
