Multicultural Day a huge success!

On Wednesday, over 500 pupils, parents and staff celebrated our 2023 Multicultural Day in the school hall. Pupils displayed projects representing almost 40 countries connected to our school community. Parents and pupils provided food from 20 of these countries, with tasty cuisines from Asia, Europe, South America and Africa on offer. We had wonderful displays of national dress and other cultural items.

A huge thank you to the dozens of parents and family members who helped make this great event happen. Thanks to all of our pupils too, who showed great manners in trying all the different cuisines.

Multicultural Day was organised by Ms Considine, Ms McHugh, Mr Looney and Ms Greig. Well done to Mr Looney’s 5th class who helped set up and run the event. Ms Greig’s film club helped promote the day too. See some pictures below from a great occasion!
