Thomas Davis in the final

Congratulations to Thomas Davis who made it to the Dublin Senior Football Championship Final, after a thrilling victory over reigning champions, Kilmacud Crokes.

There are many strong links between St Dominics and Thomas Davis with Games Promotion Officer, Stephen coaching in our school each week. One of teachers, Ms Farrelly, also has a strong link with the team. Her husband Ciarán scored 1-1 in the semi-final.

All roads lead to Parnell Park on Sunday 3rd November with the final taking place at 4pm against another local team, Ballyboden St Endas. There will be lots of fun with the staff in the build up, with Mr Vaughan, Ms Soffe, Mr Keating and Mr Ward all members of Ballyboden St Endas.

We hope to see lots of our pupils in Parnell Park next Sunday at 4pm for the big match. It will also be screened live on TG4.

We would love to see some pics of our pupils getting ready for the final or at the match next week. If you post a picture on Facebook or Twitter, be sure to tag our school. We will have a homework pass for all the pupils who we see wearing the green and gold.
