Over the past few weeks there has been a lot of art work going on behind the scenes in St Dominic’s.

Our senior classes have been taking part in art workshops down in Rua Red, the arts centre located next to Tallaght Library. Third to sixth class have been working on some lovely sculptures, while junior infants to second class have been working on their own crafty creations with the 5th class pupils and workshops with Ms Ormsby and Ms Tighe.

We will be having an exhibition of all of classes work in the hall this coming Monday, 8th of April from 1.30 – 3.30pm. All are welcome to come and have a look at all the fantastic work produced! This work is all possible thanks to Creative Schools Ireland and South Dublin County Council (SDCC), who selected our school for the grant to undertake a project in the Arts.

Fifth class have been doing a terrific job working with the younger pupils, preparing materials, delivering instructions and preparing work for display. Check out a few pictures from the work behind the scenes.
