6th Class Walk to Bohernabreena
Our two sixth classes went on an 11km walk today as part of Health & Wellbeing Week. The walk took them through Kiltipper Park and into the Bohernabreena waterworks. There were plenty of ripe blackberries to pick along the way!
We learned about the geography of the River Dodder, the history of the waterworks and the Irish roots of many local placenames. We even met a few animal friends along the way!
