Football/Sports Update
Hard luck to our boys footballers who gave a good account of themselves in yesterday’s Pegasus Cup match against St Anne’s, Fettercairn. Dominic’s were unlucky to lose the match despite several strong performances.
Our teams will change tack for now and instead of the 11-a-side version, we are taking part in a 5-a-side tournament in two weeks time. Two boys teams will take be competing in Lucan on Tuesday March 8, while our girls team will be playing in Abbotstown on Thursday March 10. Good luck to the 22 pupils selected to take part.
Our 11-a-side football will continue throughout March and April, while camogie and hurling matches will begin after Easter. Not to mention cross country athletics, track and field athletics, and basketball. Phew!
