Catholic Schools Week 2014

This week we celebrate Catholic Schools Week. Each day we have had different events in the school and church. Unfortunately our trip to the church was cancelled today due the heavy rain! So we have had to reschedule for later in the week. Tomorrow is Grandparents Day and we look forward to welcoming our grandparents and parents to the school. Our prayer service takes place at 11am in the school hall.

Thought for the day:

Today, on Grandparents’ Day, we think of the faith and love that our grandparents share with us. They share their lives and gifts and play a special part in how we learn and live our faith. Lord, help us to share all that we have and all that we are. Help us to know the joy of sharing and giving to those around us. Together we pray the prayer that Jesus taught us:
Our Father .

School Self-Evaluation in Maths

Dear parents and guardians,

We are undertaking a self-evaluation of teaching and learning of maths in our school. To help us in that evaluation, we are seeking the views of parents. We would be very grateful if you could complete this short survey. The survey should only a few minutes to complete. Please complete it by Friday 31st January. Please note that you may complete the survey anonymously and that all individual responses will be treated confidentially. Please click on the attached link to access the survey. It will be available on our website until Friday 31st January.

Many thanks,

Seamus Vaughan
